Stand-up

Mat started stand-up in 2022, a cry for help following the COVID pandemic.

He’s performed at comedy venues including Up The Creek, Hot Water, Backyard, Bill Murray, and Komedia. He’s also got a knack for crashing out of competitions as a semi-finalist.

He’s also a co-founder of Gigl Comedy, which runs comedy shows across multiple venues in London.

He’s brought an early version of his first solo show to Edinburgh Fringe 2026 for a brief run, with its work-in-progress winning the prestigious Best Stand-up Show at Greater Manchester Fringe 2026.
